Gerald Alldredge was born in Houston,Texas in the year 1948 making him a proud seventh generation Texan having a relative who died at the Alamo (Jonathan Lindley) and another relative who fought beside General Sam Houston at San Jacinto (Hiram Little). Gerald's military service includes serving with the 593rd Signal group, 1st Battalion, VietNam and also with the 2nd of the 12th, 1st Air Cavalry, VietNam. He is 1/4 Native American from the tribe of Potawatomi. In 1969 after military service he went to work for Gene Welch Plumbing learning new home plumbing construction. This experience helped him know how homes were plumbed under the slab, inside the walls and in the attic. He worked there for 3 years as a plumbers helper until earning his journeyman license. He worked the next year at Freddie Bailey Plumbing learning residential repair plumbing. While there he received his master plumbing license (MPL8635). Then he worked under Walter Pickett at John Moore Plumbing Services learning commerical and industrial plumbing. In 1974 seeing the need for a plumbing company in the 1960, Spring and Northwest area he started GJ's Plumbing, with the motto "Your Satisfaction Is My Best Advertisement." Which still applies today. On January 10, 1997 the company was incorporated. Since 2003 he has lived and worked in the Cypress, Northwest area.
